To conform to the standards of the American Miniatures Association, minis cannot exceed 24 square inches and be framed no larger than 35 square inches. The subject must not exceed 1/12th the size of the actual object painted. So they can be seen 'up close' many collectors display them on small easels on table tops and rotate their collections throughout the year.
